KNWA -- Well, if you take your fashion advice from inmates and you've got an extra $400 dollars lying around - have we got a deal for you.

Creative Director for The Frye Company Michael Petry says the boot maker's 150th anniversary style "Prison Boot" is actually modeled after the shoes issued out to Arkansas prisoners.

In a recent interview with fashion magazine Garmental, Petry explained the design is one of his favorites from this year's line. he did point out, though, that for their version, priced at $350 on the Frye website, "we remade it and made it a little more comfortable."
