DALLAS, TX -- Good news for young Arkansans looking for work! The U.S. Department of Labor's Job Corps is accepting applications for the winter months right now. It's a program that provides free education and training for people ages 16 to 24. Job Corps helps participants get a high school diploma or G.E.D. and start a career. Living allowances and medical care are also available for some.

"Job Corps offers our nation's youth the opportunity to learn and expand their skills and begin rewarding careers," said Grace Kilbane, the national director for the Office of Job Corps. "We urge eligible youth to enroll and prepare for today's competitive employment environment."
