LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Arkansas lawmakers get an update today on healthcare enrollment in the state. New numbers gathered by Arkansas Health Connector shows about 33-thousand Arkansans have signed up for federally-facilitated coverage. About 250-thousand people are eligible. Meaning the registration rate is roughly 13 percent. More than 100-thousand people have signed up for Arkansas' other healthcare option -- the private option. During today's meeting, lawmakers are expected to discuss how to reach the more than 300-thousand people who still need to sign up.
