CENTRAL ARKANSAS-- Images of hope are rising from the rubble in Vilonia and Mayflower.

The Arkansas National Guard has been expanding its response to the disasters this week.

54 soldiers were called to "state active duty" to assist local authorities with traffic control, search and rescue, and medical evacuation.

On Tuesday, The Guard's facebook page showed members in action around central Arkansas. They're just a few of the many images showing up on social media pages nationwide on Facebook and Twitter.
