As Temperatures Rise, Lower Your Gas Costs

((KNWA/NBC))-- Just because the temperatures rise, doesn't mean your fuel costs have to.

The hot weather can actually reduce your fuel consumption, if you follow some tips from the Department of Energy:

--Keep your windows up and air conditioning is more efficient when you are moving.

--Drive at or under the speed limit to save as much as 33% on fuel.

--Don't pump the gas pedal and coast to stops.
