BENTON COUNTY, AR-- Help is here for local parents struggling to care for their babies.

Right now, 830 families in Northwest Arkansans get diapers from the NWA diaper bank every month for their babies.

To help them, Huggies and the United Way of Northwest Arkansas are hosting a diaper drive that kicked off Monday May 5, 2014.

According to the groups, one in three parents in our area has a hard time providing enough diapers for their children.

"We have one in four families in our community that earn $25,000 or less per year," says Julie Petree, with United Way of Northwest Arkansas. "That's a very tight budget especially when it comes down to everything a child needs, like formula, diapers and baby food."

See below for all the ways you can help.

There are three ways United Way of Northwest Arkansas and Huggies are encouraging people to get involved in helping meet the goals of the Help Keep 'Em Covered Diaper Drive:
1. Purchasing a pack(s) of diapers and dropping them off at the United Way of Northwest Arkansas office in Lowell, or your local Arvest Bank.
2. Donating funds online to go directly towards purchasing diapers for the NWA Diaper Bank
3. Hosting a diaper drive at your office or business
