LITTLE ROCK, AR-- A man is riding hundreds of miles, on horse back, rain or shine, across the country, for a cause.

Grady Rush could be seen riding down the street in Little Rock Sunay afternoon on horseback in the rain.

Rush left Perryview, Texas last Sunday headed for Louisiana to raise awareness for veterans and the VA Hospital.

He can be seen everywhere riding with a large American flag and doesn't plan on stopping until he makes it to Louisiana.

"Everybody said you are crazy you cant make it in seven days. Well, we have done it. I can't lie. I did cheat a couple times about 10 miles because the heat was terrible the horses were just exhausted so I walked for probably four miles." says Rush.

Rush says on his journey he has met many veterans around the country.
