AROUND ARKANSAS-- The yearly report card is out and Arkansas students are making the grade, according to the office for Education Policy at the University of Arkansas. The state's high school graduation rate is above the national average, with 84% of students getting their diplomas on time. But when it comes to standardized testing, Arkansas falls below the national average. The 16-page report card uses information from schools across the state including student test scores, graduation rates, pre-k enrollment and school finance. The report is meant to be a snap shot of education in Arkansas to help teachers, parents and policy makers make needed adjustments. For the complete report, click here.
