Man Killed by Passing Car After Escaping from Rollover Accident

VAN BUREN -- A man walked away from a rollover accident early Thursday morning only to be hit and killed by a car minutes later.

Van Buren police say Karl Brandon Kasprytzki, 34, from Mulberry rolled his vehicle on Interstate 40 around 6:40am. He survived and walked down to Pointer Trail East.  He was sitting in the road when another vehicle ran over him, according to Van Buren police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation by Van Buren and Arkansas State Police.
