SEBASTIAN COUNTY -- A Sebastian County woman lost her home in an early morning house fire.

Authorities say a neighbor on Hidden Lane saw the fire around 7:30 Wednesday morning and called the fire department. Officials say, because there were no fire hydrants close, water had to be shuttled from the bottom of the drive way.

‘We don’t have a hydrant up here to hook," explains Dean Allison, a Jenny Lind Fire Training Officer."We do what we call 'water shuttle', and the tankers and the crew that’s down there are specially trained just to shuttle water and pump it up here to me.’

No one was injured in the fire but the home is a total loss. The cause is under investigation.
