FOX 24 via KARK-- Sen. Mark Pryor (D) has debuted a new campaign ad where he and his father highlight the benefits of the Affordable Care Act.

"When Mark was diagnosed with cancer, we thought we might lose him," former Senator David Pryor says in the ad. "Mark’s insurance company didn't want to pay for the treatment that ultimately saved his life."
"No one should be fighting an insurance company while you're fighting for your life. That's why I helped pass a law that prevents insurance companies from canceling your policy if you get sick, or deny coverage for preexisting conditions," adds the younger Pyor.

In the ad, Mark Pryor notes regulations in the Affordable Care Act that force insurance companies to provide coverage for pre-excisting conditions. Pryor never directly mentions the Affordable Care Act or President Obama.
