Same Sex Marriage Opponent Speaks Out

LITTLE ROCK, AR - While gay and lesbian couples applied for marriage licenses at the Pulaski County Courthouse this morning, some people opposed to the issue also showed up to voice their opposition.

Protesters were outside as early as 4:00 a.m. and when the doors opened they made their presence known as couples exchanged vows.

"God's not going to look nicely upon the natural state. Its going to effect the rice crops, the water, and other natural things that Arkansas is famous for.Arkansas in the whole region that is self supportive," said Bishop Robert E. Smith.

Security was on standby in case anyone got out of hand.
