Statewide Alcohol Sales Ballot Title Rejected

LITTLE ROCK -- Attorney General, Dustin McDaniel, rejects the ballot title trying to get statewide alcohol sales on the November ballot.

McDaniel denied the ballot title because of ambiguities in the text of proposed measure. As of now, 37 counties are dry and 38 are wet in Arkansas.

The Director of the State Alcohol and Beverage Control Board says this is the first time in history anyone has tried to turn the entire state wet at once.
