Wakarusa Festival Set Up Finished Up, Ready for Kickoff

OZARK, AR--The 11th annual Wakarusa Festival on the Mulberry Mountain is kicking off this week.

The festival finished setting up Wednesday morning. And with more than 200 bands scheduled on eight different stages, the festival is set to be a music lover's dream. But music isn't the only reason people show up.

"It really should be on everybody's bucket list," says Wakarusa festival director, Brett Mosiman. "The first and foremost is Mulberry Mountain is probably the finest festival site in the country. So we love that Northwest Arkansas' our home. It's a great great host. The nature out here is unbelievable with the flowing streams and the waterfalls and the hiking and biking."

The festival is expected to bring around 25,000 people to the area over the next five days.
