For the past 10 years Art Amiss has been the leg up for for several local artists across Northwest Arkansas.
The artists the nonprofit has helped range from painters and musicians fashion students and sculptors.
Bo Counts is with the nonprofit and said, "What we do is primarily focus on giving opportunities to emerging artists from around Arkansas. That push over the cliff to give them what they need to accomplish something or get their stuff shown to the public."
Art Amiss helps out by providing scholarships and sponsoring events for artists along with writing small artists grants for some.
"I get the joy of being involved in the local music scene," said Eric Jensen of Art Amiss.
Members of the nonprofit hope others appreciate the art around town as much as they as they work to help even more artists reach their potential.
"Stop and take the time to appreciate it in the community where people are creating it is the most important thing people can take away from what we are doing," said Counts.
