Komen Ozark Race Office Officially Opens

ROGERS, Ark.- - The Race for the Cure registration office is now open in Rogers!

Mayor Greg Hines cut the pink ribbon on Thursday morning at the Pinnacle Promenade Mall.

2017 marks the 19th Annual Komen Ozark Race for the Cure. Folks can now check in at the Race Office to get registered and to score some swag. 32-year-old breast cancer survivor and volunteer, Betty Logsdon, said it's incredible to see the show up support.

"At the time that I had mine, there was really no support. No one to ask questions, no one to help get you through it and it's a whole lot better now," said Logsdon.

"We need everyone to sign up, to register, to fundraise because what we raise locally stays locally and we need to make sure that we're helping women and covering life-saving services," said Lauren Marquette, executive director of Komen Ozark.
