¾ lb unsalted butter

8 eggs

1.5 cups sugar

1 tsp Vanilla

1 cup cake flour

1 cup walnuts or pecans

1 cup M&M’s Plain Candies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

  3. Melt the chocolate and butter carefully over a pan of simmering water. Do not exceed 110 degrees. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

  4. Combine the eggs, sugar and vanilla and whip on high speed until thick and light in color.

  5. Add the chocolate and the butter to the egg mixture.

  6. Blend a 1/3 of the egg mixture into the chocolate to temper it, and then fold in the remaining egg mixture. Gently fold in the sifted flour.

  7. Fold in 1 lb of the nuts and half of the M&M’s Candies. Pour onto the prepared sheet pan and sprinkle the remaining nuts and candy on top.

  8. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until firm to the touch.
