Recipe: Peanut Butter Crispy Treats
-4 cups toasted rice cereal
-1 3/4 cups M&Ms Milk Chocolate Candies
-4 cups mini marshmallows
-1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
-1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
-1/8 teaspoon salt
In a bowl place toasted rice cereal and Milk M&M’s Chocolate Candies.
Melt marshmallows, peanut butter, butter and salt in saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until mixture is smooth.
Pour melted mixture over cereal, tossing lightly until thoroughly coated.
Gently shape into 1 1/2 inch balls with buttered fingers. (Optional: Pour into baking sheet, and cut into squares.)
Place on wax paper and cool at room temperature until set.
Recipe makes about 3 dozen treats.
