Flourless Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Dipped Strawberries & Raspberries

This is a simple, delicious, Valentine's Day treat.
Flourless Chocolate Cake &
Chocolate Covered Strawberries & Raspberries
Chocolate Sauce

Flourless Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
1/2 cup simple syrup (1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup sugar & dash of salt)
Double melted chocolate
6 cubes butter (about 1 stick)
6 eggs
1 dollop whipped cream

Make
•Preheat oven to 300⁰F.
•Make simple syrup by boiling 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup sugar and a dash of salt.
•Melt chocolate in bowl over boiling water on the stove; reduce heat to low on water after boiling to make double melted chocolate. Continue to boil over low until chocolate is shiny, and then stir with spatula to help fully melt any remaining chocolate morsels.
•Transfer chocolate to larger mixing bowl. Add 1 cube of butter and 1 egg, combining with a whisk; continue to add 1 cube of butter and 1 egg until all are added.
•Add simply syrup to mixture.
•Grease a glass baking dish or sheet pan, and then pour chocolate mixture into dish/pan. Bake for about 1 hour.
•Serve with whipped cream.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries & Raspberries
Ingredients
Double boiled dark chocolate
Double boiled white chocolate
5 strawberries
4 raspberries

Make
•Melt dark chocolate in bowl over boiling water on the stove; reduce heat to low on water after boiling to make double melted chocolate. Continue to boil over low until chocolate is shiny, and then stir with spatula to help fully melt any remaining chocolate morsels.*
•Melt white chocolate in bowl over boiling water on the stove; reduce heat to low on water after boiling to make double melted chocolate. Continue to boil over low until chocolate is shiny, and then stir with spatula to help fully melt any remaining chocolate morsels.
•Dip strawberries and raspberries in chocolate of your choice, and place on a plate to cool. Serve.

Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients
1 cup red wine
Double melted chocolate

Make
•Heat red wine and double melted chocolate* over a stovetop. When combined use as sauce for dessert.
