1 lb. lean ground beef
½ jalapeno, finely chopped
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
½ cup grated cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon Tone’s® Salt
1 teaspoon Tone’s® Pepper
2 strips bacon
•In a medium bowl, combine the beef with the chopped jalapenos, cheese and Worcestershire. Make sure all these ingredients are combined well.
•Make 2 separate balls out of mixture and roll into the cup of your hand until it is tightly packed.
•Smash patties as large as needed to fit into desired hamburger bun.
•In a cast iron skillet, render 2 strips of bacon to release the fat, and then remove from skillet.
•Place patties in the skillet and cook in the bacon fat about 3 minutes per side until desired temperature is reached.
•Place on buns and serve with fries.
1 large potato
Oil for frying
Tone’s ® Salt & Pepper to taste
•Cut potato to desired fry size while oil is heating. Rinse fries well and pat dry to remove all water.
•Place potatoes in oil and blanch for 3-4 minutes. Do not let them brown.
•After 3-4 minutes, let cool (while making burger) and then fry them off until crisp and golden.
•Season with Tone’s® Salt and Pepper and serve with burger.
