Beef Chopped Steak

1 1/3 lb 80/20 grind
2 cloves garlic-minced
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flake
1 yellow onion-diced
13 medium baby bella mushrooms-chopped
1 cup beef stock-warm
½ stick butter
1/8 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp fresh parsley-chopped

Lay out a piece of foil on your counter or work surface. Season the meat with salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flake and the garlic. Split the burger up into portions that you need. Use the foil to form your steaks.
Set your oven to 350 degrees. At the same time heat a non-stick skillet on medium heat. Sear the burger steaks on both sides, cooking them about 3 minutes per side. Remove them to a sheet pan and place in oven for 8 minutes or until desired temp is reached.
In the original skillet, add the onion and cook for 2 minutes and add the mushrooms. Then season the mix with salt and pepper. Add the butter and cook until melted. Stir in the flour and combine well. Then add the water and cook down to desired thickness.
Serve on top of chopped steak.

Mashed Potatoes
2 medium potatoes
1 tbsp fresh parsley-chopped
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
salt and pepper
¼ cup heavy whipping cream
Boil 2 potatoes until tender and add salt to the water. Once tender, move to a glass bowl and add parsley, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper and heavy whipping cream. Mash potatoes with the skin still on and serve.
