Lemon Pepper Garbanzo Salad & Easy Mind Drink
1 rack Tyson® Baby Back Ribs
Weber Classic BBQ Blend Seasoning®
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup orange juice
1 -12 oz. bottle of beer
•Preheat oven to 350⁰F.
•Clean ribs by removing membrane. Then massage ribs with olive oil.
•Sprinkle ribs on both sides with Weber BBQ Classic BBQ Seasoning® and place them in a pan with wire rack.
•Pour the orange juice and beer over the ribs in the pan.
•Cover pan with foil and cook for about 2 hours at 350⁰F.
•After 2 hours, uncover and place back in the oven for 30 minutes. Serve.
Tone’s Feature Recipe: Lemon Pepper Garbanzo Salad
1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans, drained
1 cup canned reduced sodium black beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup celery, diagonally cut in 1/4-inch slices
1 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
1 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
2 teaspoons Tone's® Lemon Pepper Seasoning
2 tsp Minced Garlic
1/2 teaspoon Tone's® Ground Cumin
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1-1/2 tablespoons Mazola® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
•Combine beans, celery, peppers and red onion in a large serving bowl.
•Mix cilantro, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic, cumin, vinegar, lime juice and olive oil in a separate bowl. Pour over ban and pepper mixture; stir to thoroughly combine. Cover; chill a minimum of 1 hour to blend flavors then serve.
RECIPE NOTE: Garbanzo beans are also known as chick peas.
2 oz. vodka
2 oz. citrus rum
1 oz. sweet and sour mix
1 ½ oz. Grenadine
1 oz. ginger ale
Lemon slice, garnish
•Fill shaker and serving glass(es) with ice.
•Pour all ingredients into glass, except ginger ale. Shake.
•Pour into martini glass(es) and top with ginger ale. Garnish with lemon slice if desired.
