In this week's KNWA and Your Family, we look at preventing alcohol and drug use among high school students. A study from the University of Washington examined communities that identify problematic risky behaviors and then implement strategies to prevent them. Middle school students living in such areas were less likely to try alcohol, cigarettes or commit violent acts before graduating from high school.
