A study funded by Jenny Craig finds women who can maintain a ten percent weight loss over two years not only change dress sizes, they lower their risk for heart problems and diabetes. Researchers followed more than four hundred women who participated in weight loss programs, and found those with the most health risk factors at the start of the study saw the biggest weight loss benefit. While those who participated in short-term weight loss programs lost weight initially, they were more likely to rebound.
