My thing is trying to bring a different approach... seeing fashion as art.
ROGERS, AR -- Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week continues Thursday, when local and regional designers will take the stage! One of them is Felix Bui of Rogers.
"I'm very very excited," he says." "And I'm excited for everyone out there too to see my collection."
At just 19 years old, he's one of the youngest fashion designers in our area. Bui taught himself how to sew and now creates intricate couture designs, some taking months to complete.
"Everything is hand done. It took a lot of time," he says. "It's a lot of intricate detail, a lot of of hand work, and sleepless nights, that's for sure."
Felix Bui will showcase 14 pieces in Thursday's runway show.
"You'll see a lot of cut-outs and slits and body forming pieces," he explains. "What I'm trying to bring to NWAFW is broadening their horizons on fashion. My thing is trying to bring a different approach... seeing fashion as art."
The show starts at 8:00 p.m. at the 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville. The show is sold out, but you can still CLICK HERE to buy tickets to NWAFW runway shows on Friday & Saturday nights.
