  • Weather Blog: Heavy Rain and Some Freezing Rain Potential This Week

We've got an active forecast ahead with multiple rain chances and some of that rain will be heavy at times. The weather pattern includes a strong front, that's currently stalled to our NW. North of this front there's some really cold arctic air and warm humid air remains south of that front.  The persistent SW flow aloft over that stationary front will provide the setup for heavy rain. The cold air to the north surging southward will bring the potential for freezing rain late Tue into Wed AM.
