LITTLE ROCK, AR -- It's been 11 days since the government shutdown, and with seemingly no end in sight, many federal employees are filing for unemployment benefits.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- It's been 11 days since the government shutdown, and with seemingly no end in sight, many federal employees are filing for unemployment benefits.

The Department of Workforce Services says around 1,300 federal employees have filed for unemployment in Arkansas. So far an estimated 1,400 federal employees in the Natural State have been furloughed.
