The Fayetteville Public Library now owns the old city hospital. The library approved the $2 million purchase this week, as part of an $80,000 square foot expansion.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- The Fayetteville Public Library now owns the old city hospital. The library approved the $2 million purchase this week, as part of an $80,000 square foot expansion. According to library director David Johnson, the facility would include a 750-seat auditorium. That seating could be removed for banquets or adjusted for smaller events. Something else in the works; a 24-hour technology facility. Johnson says he hopes to open the doors in a little more than four years.
