23 People Charged in Drug Trafficking Investigation

<p>U.S Attorney Connor Eldridge along with local and federal agencies announced Tuesday that the Gamboa Drug Trafficking Organization, a group active in the Fort Smith area, have been charged with Drug Trafficking offenses. </p>

U.S Attorney Connor Eldridge along with local and federal agencies announced Tuesday that the Gamboa Drug Trafficking Organization, a group active in the Fort Smith area, have been charged with Drug Trafficking offenses.

Eldridge says that the 'case involves an organization that was centered here in Fort Smith and distributed methamphetamine throughout the Fort Smith and River Valley area stretching into Oklahoma and Missouri.'

The two year investigation has resulting in the seizure of twenty-two pounds of meth, numerous firearms, $5000.00, four cars and two motorcycles.
