25,000 Local Works of Art On Display in NWA

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS-- Aspiring artists now have their masterpieces on display and you have a chance to see them.
"We're installing banners with drawings from 25,000 kids in Northwest Arkansas and their impression of the word gratitude," says President and CEO of the Jones Center, Ed Clifford. It's part of the nationwide "Every Artist Live" project, teaming up Walmart with everyartist.me. The organization is aimed at fostering creative development in young minds around the country. The initiative started back in November with Bentonville elementary students. "It's really interesting to go through and look at these drawings that they've done and get an idea of how in-depth our kids are in elementary school and how they think about what's going on around them," says Clifford. The masterpieces went up Friday in Springdale at the Jones Center. You can also see them at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, Crystal Bridges in Bentonville through the end of this month.
