FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- An alternative gift market made an impact for non-profit organizations across Fayetteville.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- An alternative gift market made an impact for non-profit organizations across Fayetteville.

First United Presbyterian Church has been hosting the event for more than 20 years. Non-profits make their way to the church for the chance to raise some money by selling products they make. In some cases, people just swing by the chapel and make donations directly to the non-profits.

"A lot of the charities, the non profits that come here are involved in feeding hungry people or providing shelter for hungry people," said event chairperson Carol Barnett.

She went on to say other organizations work to make organic food available for those in need, and the annual event is part of the church's outreach efforts.
