Angel Tree Program Kicks Off

FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- Another way you can pitch in for the holidays. The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program has kicked off at the Northwest Arkansas Mall.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- Another way you can pitch in for the holidays.  The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program has kicked off at the Northwest Arkansas Mall.

It provides toys and clothing for less fortunate children and senior citizens. You'll find Angel Trees at the mall court - and at Walmart locations starting Monday.

Haley Anderson, granddaughter of Jerry Jones was at the ceremony to select the first angel.

"Just to be able to go and help out others who need, and they open my eyes to those who really need and its been an honor to help those who are underpriveledged."

The Salvation Army is providing Christmas assistance to nearly 1,100 families and around 3,000 children in Benton, Madison and Washington counties.
