Aquatics Center's First Season Ends with a Splash

ROGERS, AR -- Labor Day also marked the end of the Rogers Aquatics Center's first season.

They stayed busy up until the last hour. Folks scrambled to enjoy a splash before the park closed its doors, and the line outside was pretty impressive.

Mainly students work at the center and they are all going back to school so the park will stay quite until Memorial Weekend of 2014, and that will take a little getting used to.

"After three months of just really going and immersing oneself in all of the activity and fun chaos out here, it is a little surreal and a lot of the staff is talking about how odd it is going to be," said Suzy Turek, Rogers Aquatics Center Manager.

The capacity for the park is 1,100 and they cleared that by 11 o'clock Monday morning.
