It was an aviation career day at the rogers airport, and more than 20 kids showed up to tour air crafts, traffic towers and meet technicians.
For the third year, the Women in Aviation Northwest Arkansas chapter hosted this outreach event.
"This event allows kids who have had no exposure to aviation to learn about aviation and for those who know something about aviation to learn about the different careers that there are in aviation," says Julie Hall, one of the chapter's organizers..
The women in aviation group isn't just for women. Organizers say men are encouraged to join as well.
