Benton County Employee Injured in Road Grader Crash

BENTON COUNTY, AR-- A Benton County Road Department employee was injured Wednesday after he lost control of his road grader.
BENTON COUNTY, AR-- A Benton County Road Department employee who was injured Wednesday after he lost control of his road grader has been released from the hospital.

A member of the road department confirmed Thursday Stanley Drain, 51, is home.  According to Arkansas State Police (ASP), Stanley Drain was driving east on Leetown Road when he drove off the right side of the pavement. ASP said Drain steered back to the left, attempting to regain control of his grader but he crossed the road and drove off the left side of the pavement. The grader traveled down
an embankment, ran through a fence and came to rest after running into another fence around 125 feet from the road.

Drain was taken to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance, his condition is unknown at this time.

ASP said they are investigating the crash.
