The company partners with the motorcycle rally to provide shuttle service on Thursday through Saturday. The railroad's passenger transport business is set up as a service to the community, and the Blues Train will run between Baum Stadium and the main event.
"That allows a much greater mass of folks to come down to Dickson Street than would be possible if everybody was trying to drive in there on their bikes... It just allows for a bigger, more fun party," said J. Reilly McCarren with A&M Railroad.
The train allows passengers to go from the rally on Dickson Street to the Fairgrounds where individual vendors are located. Along with the ride, passengers can purchase beverages and snacks for a small cost.
Rally goer Ray Hall said the train makes everything easier. "You don't have to get on the bike and go through all of the traffic...It's the best deal in town."
The train is $5 one way and $8 round trip, and runs Thursday and Friday 4:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. and Saturday 3:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m.
