Brightest Classroom: Mrs. Jenny Humble's 5th Grade

Chief Meteorologist, Dan Skoff, and Steve Cunningham from GE Lighting, surprised Mrs. Jenny Humble's 5th grade class as the Brightest Classroom for September.
KNWA and Fox 24 Chief Meteorologist Dan Skoff and Steve Cunningham with GE Lighting, awarded the first "Brightest Classroom" for the school year to Mrs. Jenny Humble's 5th grade class at Grace Hill Elementary in Rogers.

Mrs. Humble is planning to use the $500 Walmart/Sam's Club gift card to purchase much needed supplies for her students. "I've been teaching about 9 years now, and well, the wonderful things I have been able to reuse year after year, are starting to wear out.  This includes clipboards, center manipulatives, paperback books, reading chairs, etc. I just want to say thanks for offering this gift it to teachers."

To nominate your child's class, or if you're a teacher, please go to The Brightest Classroom webpage under the "contests" tab at nwahomepage.com, and tell us how students are learning to save energy, and how $500 would be used for classroom supplies. Teachers for grades 1-8 in Benton and Washington counties are eligible to participate.
