JOPLIN, MO -- A family friend says 18-year-old Gracen Boxx is out of the ICU and improving. The teen was injured in an accident that killed her 2 sisters and hospitalized her parents the day after Christmas.
Authorities say the Boxx family's van flipped after a 3-car collision in Missouri on Dec. 26. We're told Gracen will need surgery on her leg. She's recovering in a Joplin hospital, but could soon be transferred to one in Arkansas.
Meanwhile, the First Baptist Church of Rogers has set up a fund to help the family with funeral costs. To make a donation, you can stop by the church office on Pleasant Grove Road.
