Craighead County arrested Paul McGill for a parole violation, but the Arkansas Support Network bonded him out of jail Thursday. Crawford County Prosecutor Marc McCune's Facebook page reads "BAD NEWS: I was just informed that LEVEL 4 SEXUALLY VIOLENT PREDATOR Paul McGill has been released from Craighead County jail this afternoon and is headed back to the 1300 block of Oak Grove Road."
According to McCune, there are conditions to the release. McGill must comply with the probation office and with the sex offender registry.
McGill now heads back to Crawford County. He's been living there since July, after pleading guilty to sexual indecency with a child and terroristic threatening. Deputies tell us McGill is supposed to be monitored at all times by the Arkansas Support Network.
This marks the second time ASN has bonded McGill out of jail. The first time was after Crawford County deputies arrested him for threatening his ASN caretaker.
