14 Confirmed Dead in Sunday Tornadoes

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- There are now 14 confirmed deaths from Sunday night's storms, according to the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management.

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- There are now 14 confirmed deaths from Sunday night's storms, according to the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (ADEM).

Ten of those are in Faulkner County, three in Pulaski County and one in White County.

Original story (April 27):
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- One confirmed dead in El Paso in White County by the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management.

According to Lt. Carl Minden with Pulaski County Sheriff's office there have been three confirmed deaths along the 4000 Block of Deer Drive on the Western edge of Pulaski County.

Also, significant homes damaged, power lines down and trees in the heavily-wooded area.

Most people are accounted for but they are still searching other homes and will not know for sure until tomorrow.  It is a search, rescue and recovery mission.

EDITOR'S NOTE: An earlier version of this article cited the ADEM confirmed death toll at 16 but the department has updated their information to 14 deaths.
