FAYETTEVILLE -- James Keith, a convicted sex offender, reportedly admitted to downloading as many as 70,000 images from the internet, including some images that depicted minors as young as five-years-old being sexually assaulted.

FAYETTEVILLE -- A sex offender found guilty of downloading thousands of images of child pornography will serve 15 years in prison without the possibility of parole. According to District Attorney Conner Eldridge,  James Keith was sentenced Tuesday.  Along with the prison time, Keith, 42, of Siloam Springs is to pay a $25,000 fine and , once released, will have 15 years of supervised release.

According to court documents, in March 2013, Homeland Security agents and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce in Northwest Arkansas found the images on computers and digital storage devices at Keith's home. Keith, already a convicted sex offender, reportedly admitted to downloading as many as 70,000 images from the internet, including some images that depicted minors as young as five-years-old being sexually assaulted.

This case was investigated by the Homeland Security Investigations and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce. Assistant United States Attorney Dustin Roberts prosecuted this case for the United States.
