NORTHWEST ARKANSAS -- It might be time to head to the gym, Arkansas. The Natural State is one of the top five most obese states in the country according to a Gallup Poll. Arkansas is the fifth on the list with about 33% of the population considered obese. Mississippi take the top spot, while Montana is considered the leanest.
The top five states with the highest obesity rate are; Mississippi (35.4%), West Virginia (34.4%), Delaware (34.3%), Louisiana (32.7%), Arkansas (32.2%).
