"It's definitely going to be a lot of buzz downtown so there's going to be a lot going on," Jordan Sherrod, Co-chair NWA Fashion Week said.
The First Friday series kicks off March 7, at 5pm, bringing food, family, merchants and music all to the Downtown Bentonville Square.
"No body likes First Friday more than our downtown Bentonville businesses they all stay open during First Friday, many till 9 o'clock at night. It's a great way to come down, do some shopping, go into a restaurant have dinner with the family come enjoy some live music on the square," David Deggs, Executive Director for Downtown Bentonville, Inc.
The night doesn't end when First Friday finishes at 8:00 pm.
A new program called "Notes at Night" keeps the music playing.
"What we'll be doing throughout the year with Notes at Night is we'll be putting live music inside some of our downtown venues, our restaurants, and hotels, just to kind of you know, spark the night life, we see our night life scene emerging and we see it as a way to kind of help our businesses and help our restaurants," Deggs said.
If fashion is more your forte, Friday marks the first boutique runway show for NWA Fashion Week.
"We've had a great turn out. We're completely sold out, we've sold probably about 50 percent more tickets this year than we did last year," Sherrod said.
Proceeds from Fashion Week sales go to local charities, so every ticket sold has a greater impact on the community... and maybe even your sanity.
"A lot of people have cabin fever. Come on out, enjoy a good time with the family and stay afterwords and enjoy some of the things happening with Notes at Night and Fashion Week," Deggs said.
