Microsoft naming Satya Nadella as its new CEO, replacing Steve Ballmer. Nadella has been with Microsoft for 22 years and previously served as vice-president of the Cloud and Enterprise Group.


Target's chief financial officer John Mulligan testified before Congress tuesday on the company's data breach. Lawmakers grilling Mulligan on how hackers gained access to the personal information of more than one hundred million target customers. The company says it is speeding up a program to implement chip-based credit card technology.


After a horrific fallout on Monday, the Dow Jones managed to end Tuesday on a positive note, aining 72 points. The Nasdaq gained 34 points and the S&P 500 ended the day up 13 points.
