Changes May be Coming for Mobile Vendors

Fayetteville City Council is considering some new rules.
The city of Fayetteville, putting the wheels in motion for changes on how mobile meal trucks can operate in town.

Thursday night the Ordinance and Review committee discussed some ideas regarding how long trucks can stay in one place. Right now it's 90 days - but the committee may change that to six months. After six months vendors would have several options.

Some brick and mortar retailers have been upset over the mobile vendors in the past prompting a lot of discussion over how they operate.

The council meeting to review the possible changes will be March 18th.
