The crash killed U of A students Rachel Swetnam and Trey Varner. DeSelms was suspended for one year from the University of Arkansas after the accident.
He is currently out on bond, but is due back in court December 29 for a sentencing hearing. Prosecutors say he could face four years to life in prison for each count, and must serve 85% of his sentence before being eligible for parole.
