The unit also conducted six search warrants, seized one vehicle and over $5600 cash and recovered more than 16 pounds of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine, approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine, and one firearm.
On February 6, the SOD searched a home at 23200 Spring Harbor Rd. Siloam Springs, Arkansas and say they found 13 pounds of marijuana and a firearm. Courtney Day and Dava Hupp were arrested for possession with the purpose to deliver. Day was also charged with Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms.
While Special Operations Division was a the house, two women, Jamie Porter and Cheryl Hibbard, arrived. Investigators say the two had marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and cash on them. Both were arrested.
On, Sunday, detectives arrested Gustavo Ballesteros after a traffic stop revealed a quarter pound of marijuana, according to reports.
Later, as part of the investigation, a home on 3016 Twin County Street Springdale was searched. The Special Operations Division said they found about 1200 grams of marijuana, digital scales, smoking pipes, electronic bill counter, and $4,280.00.
Gustavo is being charged with possession with the purpose to deliver-marijuana.
Detectives also conducted four search warrants over the past week, including one on a postal packaged which they say contained over a half pound of marijuana and was being shipped to an address in Benton County from Fresno, California.
Detectives say there will be more arrests.
