NORTHWEST ARKANSAS-- Early voting is underway around Arkansas and so far, more than 20,000 Arkansans have voted early in the May primary election.
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS-- Early voting is underway around Arkansas and so far, more than 20,000 Arkansans have voted early in the May primary election.

According to county clerks offices, here's how the numbers break down as of Thursday May 8th:

In Washington county:
828 early voting ballots have been turned in.
123 absentee ballots have been requested.
52 absentee ballots have actually been received.

In Benton county,
932 early voting ballots have been turned in.
146 absentee ballots have been requested.
80 absentee ballots have actually been received.

Early voting continues until May 19th. Then, it's election day on May 20th. On that night, we'll have you covered on all the races with real-time results where you live.
