Food Drives Across Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY-- The Salvation Army is partnering with the Washington County Sheriff's Office to conduct food drives around the area.
WASHINGTON COUNTY-- The Salvation Army of Northwest Arkansas has teamed up with the Washington County Sheriff's Office to hold several food drives in the area.
On August 1st and 2nd, there will be food drives at these Harps Grocery Stores:
  • Mission and Crossover in Fayetteville
  • Har-ber Meadows in Springdale
  • West Fork

You can take donations to these sites on Friday, August 1st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday the 2nd from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Salvation Army has hit a summer slowdown, and does not have money to buy new food. These food drives are the Salvation Army's way of keeping the shelves of the food pantry stocked during slow periods. If you can't make it to these food drives, you can take donations to the Area Command at 219 W 15th Street in Fayetteville. Both perishable and non-perishable food items are accepted.
