Former Athletic Director Set to Face Judge

FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- A former Fayetteville athletic director has a date with a judge on Tuesday.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- A former Fayetteville athletic director has a date with a judge on Tuesday. Barry Gebhart is expected at the Benton County Courthouse following his arrest on charges of Internet stalking of a child. Detectives arrested Gebhart back in October during an undercover sex-sting operation at the Promenade Mall in Rogers. Investigators say Gebhart was arranging a meeting with a girl he thought was 14-years-old. Gebhart's original plea hearing was delayed after investigators said they needed more time to go through his phone and iPad, both of which were believed to contain pictures of underage victims. If more evidence is uncovered, Gebhart could face additional felony charges. His arraignment is set for Tuesday morning at 8:00.
